Neukölln Studio Project - Remote Shopping List & Interior Decoration Service

This compact studio apartment in Berlin’s vibrant Neukölln district was brought to life through our shopping list and interior decoration services combined, tailored to meet the needs of a creative client seeking a cohesive, gallery-like space filled with personality and light.

The brief was clear: maximise natural light, create a versatile and flexible studio layout, and deliver a design that was both renter friendly and aesthetically striking. The client came with a curated collection of existing furniture and art, which played a key role in shaping the direction of the design and colour palette.

Given the project’s remote nature, the process began with a to scale CAD floorplan and 3D elevations of the main living and sleeping zone. This allowed us to test multiple layout solutions and visually communicate ideas clearly. After a series of proposals, we landed on a final layout that balanced functionality, flexibility, and visual flow.

A standout design element was the recommendation of a moveable dividing wall with integrated shelving and a TV unit, providing much needed spatial definition between the sleeping and living areas while maintaining an open, airy feel.

The end result is a modern, light-filled apartment with thoughtful zoning and playful touches, honouring the client’s existing pieces while introducing new elements that elevate the overall aesthetic. A true reflection of our belief that small spaces can still make a bold statement.
